Flexeserve announced as LeicestershireLive’s ‘Business of the Year’

The world’s leading hot-holding manufacturer and food-to-go experts scored twice at Leicester’s King Power Stadium on 26th October, with a double win at the LeicestershireLive Business Awards 2023.

Flexeserve has won ‘Business of the Year’ and the ‘Global Britain Award’ at the prestigious awards night hosted by Olympic silver medallist, Iwan Thomas MBE. Regarded as the industry’s Home of Hot-holding, Flexeserve partners with the likes of Asda, Greggs, Pret, Sainsbury’s and many more.

Partners (employees) from across the business attended the annual event, which aims to “celebrate success, recognise achievement and highlight the innovative people and companies throughout Leicestershire who are putting their region on the map.”

Jamie Joyce, Global CEO of Flexeserve, said: “We’re very humbled to have won these awards on a spectacular night for our team and the local business community. In recent years, we’ve developed into a truly international business, as we advance the world of food-to-go. This has been driven by all that our team achieves here in Hinckley, Leicestershire – a shining example of this county‘s potential.

“In 2021, we won LeicestershireLive’s Award for Excellence in Manufacturing – it was an amazing feeling for our team to receive such well-deserved recognition. Returning in 2023 to be named Business of the Year and win the Global Britain Award, which acknowledges our international success, is just incredible.”

Flexeserve, Business of the Year

Flexeserve saw off fierce competition from well-respected local businesses to be crowned 2023’s Business of the Year, sponsored by Aspire Pharma. In the opening lines of the submission for the award, Flexeserve stated:

“Our unique foodservice equipment and expertise is reducing energy usage and eliminating food waste, whilst improving the quality of hot food available to consumers around the world.”

This statement summarizes the scale of impact that Flexeserve is having within a wide range of foodservice sectors and, subsequently, on the way people eat.

Over recent years, the business has developed in all aspects, establishing itself as the global leader in hot-holding. This has included progressing its manufacturing capabilities, increasing market presence, driving sales growth and expanding sustainability credentials in pursuit of net zero by 2030.

In addition to this, Flexeserve has also committed significant resources to its development as an employer. A brand of The Alan Nuttall Partnership, an Employee Ownership Trust, Flexeserve has been on a journey to embrace its employee ownership, enhancing the support it provides its Partners. Flexeserve has introduced a range of industry-leading benefits and created team facilities that enhance wellbeing and provide an empowering, social and collaborative environment.

Going Global

The Home of Hot-holding was also recognised for its international achievements with the Global Britain Award, selected from a shortlist that included Access Group and Watches of Switzerland.
